The 2011 edition of GSTAR, Korea's biggest and most important game show, will start tomorrow in Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13, November.
GSTAR is the main venue for Korean gamers to discover upcoming titles.
Attendance is indeed impressive, given that the event is taking place far from Seoul. The 2010 edition saw record attendance with more than 280,000 visitors.
The 2009 edition featured demonstrations of StarCraft 2 gameplay ahead of the game's launch (July 2011).
In 2010, Blizzard introduced new gameplay footages of Diablo 3 and let fans try the game in 15 minutes sessions.
It is also the best place to go for professionals from all over the world who want to do business with Korean developers, publishers and other game-related companies.
Last year business negotiations resulted in deals amounting to 198 million dollars as a whole.
